Plot of Field Of Wheat: This is a story that took place in the Warring States era, spanning five days and four nights.

Lu Yi, a small city of the Zhao State. Three years ago, Lord Ju Cong (played by Wang Xueqi) had just married his young and beautiful wife, Li (played by Fan Bingbing), when he led all the adult men of his clan to join the Qin-Zhao Changping battle against the Qin State. Every day, Li and the women, children, and elderly hoped that the Zhao State would repel the Qin State so that their men could return sooner...
