First, it's important to note that this is good news. However, after a brief trial, it became apparent that YangKu's support for Firefox still has a long way to go, and it already affects the most basic operations. We hope for improvements soon. Below is the email from the RichURL development team received at noon:

YangKu, as the upgraded version of RichURL (YangKu.com), has completed an internal testing phase. We would like to thank all the friends who participated in the beta test! Starting from November 14th, all RichURL users can begin their new experience on YangKu.com.

We plan to cease operations of RichURL by December 31st, 2006. At that time, we will migrate/merge all data from RichURL to YangKu.com. If any user wishes to migrate/merge their data to YangKu.com before December 31st, please leave a message directly on the website (Richurl.com). Users registered before October 11th only need to request data merging, while users registered after October 11th only need to request data migration—there’s no need to register identical accounts.

Sincerely,

The RichURL.COM Development Team

November 14th, 2006
