In the future world, humans initiated the Avatar Program to obtain resources from another planet, Pandora. Through the blending of human and Na'vi (the indigenous people of Pandora), avatars were cultivated—standing nearly three meters tall—to facilitate survival on Pandora and the mining of its minerals. Jake, a wounded war veteran, agrees to participate in the experiment and arrives on the paradise-like Pandora through his avatar. However, in this breathtaking yet perilous environment, the creatures that crawl on the ground, fly in the sky, or burrow into the soil are all colossal and deadly. Tasked with a critical mission and surrounded by danger, Jake's first accidental encounter with the Na'vi opens up the possibility of communication but also ushers in an unforeseen, vast, and epic conflict.
