Based on the Tony-winning Broadway musical of the same name in 2009, the story revolves around Guido, played by Daniel Day-Lewis. Guido is a director who is overwhelmed by his new film and family problems. He juggles between his wife (played by Marion Cotillard), his mistress (Penelope Cruz), his muse (Nicole Kidman), his sexual启蒙 object (Daisy Flog), his mother (Sophia Loren), the producer (Judi Dench) and a journalist (Kate Hudson).
