In 1920s Madrid, the traditional values were being challenged by new trends like jazz and Freud. Salvador Dali, at the age of entering university, was determined to become a great artist. His shy yet wild demeanor and unique thinking quickly caught the attention of the school's prominent figures, Federico Garcia Lorca and Luis Bunuel. Soon, these three young artists became the most trendsetting figures in all of Madrid. However, Dali found himself gradually falling deeply in love with Lorca, unable to resist his feelings. Unaware of this, Lorca remained oblivious while Bunuel, faced with the growing fame of his two close friends, decided to go to Paris to seek success in his own artistic career. Meanwhile, torn between religious discipline and physical desire, Lorca was suffering greatly. When he learned that Dali had gone to Paris to collaborate with Bunuel on a surrealist film and was also involved with Gala, a married woman, the fragile Lorca was pushed to the brink of collapse. As Spain's civil war loomed in the late 1930s, an unimaginable disaster occurred during a dinner invitation from Dali and Gala. A week later, as Dali was hosting a party, he received the terrible news that his good friend Lorca had been assassinated in the chaos of war. Devastated and nearly broken, it wasn't until this moment that Dali realized he had been suppressing his deep and sincere love for Lorca. But everything was too late.
