Due to dissatisfaction with the Changsha Xianghe Chemical Plant for polluting the environment, citizens took to the streets to march in protest. On the 2nd day, reporters learned from the relevant departments of Liuyang city that the relevant departments of Changsha city have already formed a joint working group to station in Liuyang. The chemical plant which caused the cadmium pollution has been permanently closed, and related aftermath work has been fully launched.
