Liu Sanhao (Charmaine Sheh) and Yao Jinling (Racheal Wong) are a pair of sworn sisters in the palace. As young palace maids, they are constantly assigned various tasks. At the time, the harem was controlled by four departments: the Department of Food headed by Tan Yanshang (Wu Yongwei), responsible for delicious food; the Department of Embroidery headed by Zhong Xuexia (Miki Yeung), responsible for embroidered garments; the Department of Arrangements headed by Hu Su'en (Hui Yinghong), responsible for decorations; and the Department of Treasures headed by Ruan Cuiyun (Susan Tse), responsible for jewelry. These four departments were constantly engaged in power struggles, forcing the innocent Sanhao and Jinling to become scapegoats. Despite enduring numerous hardships, Sanhao remained steadfast in her 'three goods' spirit. However, Jinling, after being subjected to constant bullying, decided to seek revenge. During one opportunity while serving Emperor Li Yi (Chris Tang), Jinling secretly acted and eventually became Empress Consort Li, engaging in rivalries with Consort Wan Baoxian (Li Shyun). Meanwhile, Sanhao, with her cleverness and ingenuity, became the head of the four chambers. When both Sanhao and Jinling held power, their sisterly bond broke as they both harbored feelings for palace guard Gao Xianyang (Zheng Jiaxin). While Jinling sought to punish the four departments, Sanhao chose forgiveness and protected them, leading Jinling to use this to harm Sanhao...
