Main Cast of "Lift Up": Lee Beom-soo, Cho Ah-sung, Lee Yoon-ji - Soaring Through the Clouds

Plot of "Lift Up": Lee Ji-feng (played by Lee Beom-soo), who won the bronze medal in weightlifting at the 1988 Olympics, had to end his athletic career prematurely due to injury. With nothing but a muscular body and an obsession with weightlifting, Lee Ji-feng becomes a weightlifting coach at a rural girls' high school. There, he meets a group of energetic country girls.

Yeong-ja (played by Cho Ah-sung) has strong shoulders and impressive core strength from helping with farm work, making her body perfect for weightlifting. Hyun-ting (played by Jeon Bo-mi) secretly loves the school's top heartthrob. Su-eok (played by Lee Seul-bi), a model student aiming to enter Harvard Law School and become an FBI agent. Yu-sun (played by Choi Moon-kyung) wants to succeed in weightlifting to help her sick mother lying in bed. Bae-young (played by Kim Min-young) is always full of energy, and Min-hee (played by Lee Yoon-ji) is a "four-dimensional beauty" who is captivated by the weightlifting uniform.

Despite their different personalities and appearances, these country girls share the world's strongest resilience and passion. Moved by them, Coach Lee Ji-feng gathers these aimless children together into a dormitory and begins training them formally. Starting from the basics, under Coach Lee Ji-feng's guidance, they gradually grow into professional weightlifters. Finally, they are ready to challenge for the Olympic gold medal.
