The 4th part of the long drama "Unforgettable Intentions" will start airing two episodes daily from today, April 6, 2009 at 5 pm on CCTV-8 Youth Drama Garden. CCTV's "Revisiting Unforgettable Intentions" continues from the 3rd part with a total of 168 episodes, extending from the original 280 episodes of PTS.

The first 168 episodes aired on CCTV mainly describe the protagonist Wang Shengtian's journey of starting from scratch and his relentless struggle, intertwined with emotional entanglements with three women. Director Wang Wei stated that the second season's 160 episodes focus more on the second generation of the main characters. As time goes by, Wang Shengtian and his younger brother Shengzhi shift their businesses to electronics, dealing with Japanese businessmen, making them commercial rivals once again. Meanwhile, Tianzhu, the son of Shengtian and Lizhu, has grown up but ends up helping outsiders scheme against his own father. In the first season, Lin Dazhong's wife Xuelian falls off a cliff and dies, surprising many viewers. Wang Wei explained that this was due to Han Yu, who played Xuelian, needing to shoot another drama, so such a plot twist was designed. However, as audiences loved Han Yu, they demanded her "resurrection." Therefore, after she finished shooting the other drama, a woman named Shanni, who looks exactly like Xuelian, was introduced in "Unforgettable Intentions." Wang Shengtian still harbors feelings for Xuelian, and Shanni's appearance causes ripples in Shengtian's heart. In summary, the second season not only features conspiracies and calculations in business battles but also portrays brotherly affection, paternal love, and mother-in-law-daughter-in-law relationships, making it even more exciting than the first season.

Director Wang Guohui of CCTV Film and Television Department expressed that before, CCTV had never introduced such a long TV series like "Unforgettable Intentions," and initially, there wasn't much confidence about its ratings. Especially, it was unexpected that a drama airing at 5 pm could achieve a peak rating of 2.23%, higher than some dramas broadcast during prime time. Moreover, the audience's demand for urgent introduction was very high, with numerous calls received daily by the Chief Editor's Office and the Film and Television Department. After fully considering the audience's opinions, 160 more episodes were quickly introduced after the first season ended. Thus, "Unforgettable Intentions" has already aired 328 episodes, and depending on the viewing ratings, it is highly likely that the remaining episodes will continue to air. The audience will be able to see a complete "Unforgettable Intentions," and CCTV will also set a new record, with the 526-episode "Unforgettable Intentions" surpassing the Korean drama "Mermaid Lady" to become the longest drama. Additionally, "Unforgettable Intentions" enriches CCTV's drama lineup during the Spring Festival. On February 9, "Rural Love 2," starring Zhao Benshan and Fan Wei, aired on "One Yellow," which is a rural comedy featuring China's most popular comedians, perfectly fitting the festive atmosphere. On "Eight Yellow," "Women Flowers," starring Qin Hailu and Liu Tao, aired, which is a period drama, while "Unforgettable Intentions," with its dramatic twists and turns, complements "Rural Love 2" well, offering different choices to the audience.
