Historical Breakthrough:
Originally named "Farmers' Children," it was later renamed "Xiao Chun." Each episode lasts 45 minutes. No one involved in this drama was professional; farmers wrote it, directed it, acted in it, portraying farmers. After being reviewed and approved by the National Radio and Television Administration, it became an 18-episode long drama. This is unprecedented, a pioneering effort by Northeast Chinese farmers. The entire production cost only 160,000 RMB, took 4 months to film, and involved 86 people. It marks a miracle in the history of Chinese film and television culture. Moreover, the entire filming process followed the requirements set by the National Radio and Television Administration, including obtaining shooting permits and distribution licenses. It is a legally compliant newborn project.
