Baidu teams up with Intel to develop search programs

According to Infoworld, Intel China and Baidu announced their cooperation in developing search programs. According to the terms of both parties' statements, Baidu will collaborate with Intel to develop search programs for laptops, mobile phones, and home computers, but there is no specific explanation on how these searches will differ from Baidu's current mobile search services. Meanwhile, Baidu also agreed to use servers based on Intel processors.

This is quite an interesting event. As Google's biggest rival in China, Baidu has launched a series of counterattack measures. Since Google uses AMD, Baidu chose Intel. For Intel, since Google does not use Intel servers, it also refuses to use Google's search.

Recently, after the visit of Google's CEO to China, the company officially announced the establishment of a research and development center in Beijing. It is expected that by the middle of this year, the number of employees at the center will reach 150, making it Google's largest R&D center outside the United States. In response to Google's aggressive approach, Baidu's CEO Robin Li had already declared that he would take "defensive actions."

Competition is good, but I hope we won't see another instance of partial unavailability of Google services. Who knows, in this world.
