Japan's Largest Social Networking Site Mixi Enters China

Japan's largest social networking site, Mixi, has recently launched the Chinese version of its SNS platform—Mixiu (MIXIU)—in a low-key manner. This officially announces its entry into the rapidly growing Chinese Internet market. Mixi is the most popular SNS community site in Japan, with traffic second only to Yahoo! Japan, a comprehensive portal site, and boasts a number of registered members that amounts to nearly one-third of Japan's entire population. In terms of functional module settings, Mixi itself does not have too many advantages.
