InstantBird is an IM integrated client software that was just released in the past couple of days. It is developed based on the Mozilla core and Pidgin's libpurple, written using XUL technology. This allows developers to create a variety of extensions and plugins for it. It is a cross-platform, multiprotocol instant messaging chat application that supports the three major platforms: Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. It supports mainstream IM protocols such as AIM, Gadu-Gadu, Google Talk, ICQ, MSN, QQ, etc. Additionally, it is an open-source project with publicly available source code.
