Director Cheung Tat-ming is preparing to shoot a ghost movie and needs an ancient house as the set. The young female assistant producer, Lam Ngo-po, is ordered to go to the countryside to find one. She finally finds a dilapidated, unoccupied ancient house. Inside, she discovers an urn of ashes. Out of kindness, she carefully moves the urn to avoid unintentionally destroying or offending the spirits. As the crew moves into the ancient house to start filming, strange incidents begin to occur one after another. Her boyfriend dies mysteriously in a car accident, and the people around her also start encountering dangers one by one. She gradually transforms from a pure young girl into a promiscuous and seductive woman. Suspecting that she is being haunted by a ghost, she turns to the makeup artist of the crew, Jubei (played by Lai Chi), for help. Jubei is not only the director's girlfriend but also an expert in spiritual studies. After some investigation, they discover that the ghost from the urn she moved has fallen in love with her and has possessed her body, intending to commit double suicide to hold a wedding in hell. Both have already been controlled by the evil spirit, so Jubei has no choice but to rely on her own strength to stop this infernal marriage.
