Frankly speaking, Sogou Search is indeed doing well now. Sogou 3.0 claims to have indexed 1 billion web pages and maintains updates at a rate of 500 million pages per day. Unfortunately, these products lack innovation. Just like Tencent, they are completely imitations of Google and Baidu. Even after launching Sogou Labs, it did not cause much of a stir. Later, it finally gained some popularity through the pinyin input method.
Now Sogou has launched a new service - knowledge search. I originally thought that so-called knowledge search was just a replica of community question-and-answer services like Baidu Zhidao, Tencent Wenwen, and Sina Aiwen. But after using it, I realized that it is actually something similar to Google's personalized search. It limits the search results of the questions users ask to websites like Baidu Zhidao, Aiwengzhiran, and Yahoo Knowledge Hall. To be honest, this has no technical content at all. It's just resource integration. It seems like another chicken rib.
