Living - Jade and HD Jade, starting tonight, every Monday to Friday evening, for millions of years, humans have experienced reproduction, evolution, and survival, progressing from a primitive life of eating raw meat and drinking blood to today's developed civilized society. People are busy working hard, with no one exploring the fundamental meaning of living. Ho Siu Hin, Serena Leung, Flora Xu, and Liu Qianting recently joined a filming crew to Ethiopia, Kenya, Beijing's Zhoukoudian, and Malaysia's highlands to shoot a large documentary titled "Living." They personally interacted with multiple primitive tribes, witnessing their lifestyles and peculiar customs such as drinking raw cattle blood, undergoing circumcision rituals on male and female genitalia, and women cutting their lips to place pottery discs as a sign of bravery, which were chilling sights. However, seeing the heartfelt, cheerful smiles of the tribespeople compared to the perpetually furrow-browed urban dwellers brought simplicity and happiness. Initially, when Serena Leung received the task to shoot in Ethiopia, her mindset was that the primitive tribes lacked resources and lived in harsh conditions. But when she saw the tribespeople's smiles and intimate relationships, which were far better than the alienation in cities, she couldn't help but wonder if societal development was truly beneficial. Another deeper realization Serena had was due to an ankle injury, which gave her the opportunity to replace someone going to Kenya. She mentioned that Kenya was more advanced than Ethiopia. In Ethiopia, she enjoyed delicious vegetable soup cooked with fresh ingredients, whereas in Kenya, the vegetable soup was made from powdered substances.
