Crystal Shoes and Roses

Once upon a time, there was a very small country that, after several centuries of peace, faced the peril of being besieged by other nations. The king hoped that Prince Edward could marry a princess from another country, using this alliance marriage to counter foreign aggression. However, the prince was romantically inclined and refused to marry the foreign princess, as he believed in marrying only for love. With no other choice, the king ordered a grand ball to be held so that the prince could choose a bride from it.

On the other side, Cinderella had lost her biological father and was treated like a maid by her wicked stepmother. A kind fairy sympathized with Cinderella's situation and used magic to transform her into a princess and sent her to the royal ball where she successfully caught the prince's attention. As the clock struck midnight, the magic faded, turning the princess back into Cinderella.

The prince, determined to find his true love, began a nationwide search using the crystal slipper that Cinderella had left behind. Will this marriage save the kingdom? And how will the prince and Cinderella reunite?
