Single mother Donna raises her daughter Sophia and runs a hotel business on a small island in Greece. Now, Sophia is about to marry her boyfriend Sky. Sophia eagerly awaits her wedding day and has always had a wish: for her father to walk her down the aisle into the church. However, Donna does not tell Sophia anything about her father, so Sophia still does not know who her biological father is. Sophia secretly reads Donna's decade-old diary and finds a clue: businessman Sam Carmichael, banker Harry Bright, and adventurer Bill Anderson - all three men could possibly be her biological father. Thus, Sophia secretly sends out invitation letters to these three men without telling her fiancé Sky or her mother Donna.

Donna is very happy that her daughter is about to get married and invites many good friends to attend the wedding. Longtime close friends Rosie, who loves to joke around, and Tanya, who has been divorced multiple times and is now a wealthy single woman, both arrive in Greece. Sophia is troubled by the issue of finding her biological father, and at the same time, her boyfriend Sky's reluctance to have a wedding also causes her headaches. Sky deeply loves Sophia but prefers traveling with her rather than having a formal wedding ceremony. Donna, naturally, stands on Sophia's side and insists on having the wedding. However, the sudden appearance of the three men, Sam, makes Donna feel unprepared, and she begins to lean towards supporting Sky.

Sophia insists that Donna reveal the secret of her biological father. But even Donna doesn't know which one among the three men is the father. All three men express pride in having a daughter like Sophia and are willing to each take on a third of the role as her father. At this point, Sophia decides to cancel the wedding. Sky, of course, is delighted and persuades Sophia to go on a sea trip to get married instead. Meanwhile, there are signs of rekindled feelings between Donna and Sam. It turns out that years ago, Sam loved Donna but had a fiancée, so he quietly left to break off the engagement. When he returned, he found out that Donna had a new love interest. Sam went back and got married to his original fiancée, with whom he had a child. Now, Sam is single again. Donna's old friend Rosie starts getting along well with Bill, while Harry openly admits that he is gay.

In order not to waste the preparations for the wedding, Donna and Sam decide to make use of them. So, the daughter's wedding turns into the mother's wedding. The whole family sings and celebrates joyfully at the wedding.
