Hiro Mashima, the author of "Saint Seiya", has another fantasy comic series targeted at young boys called "Fairy Tail". Currently, it has been released in tankōbon volumes and was awarded the Shogakukan Manga Award in the少年 (shonen) category this year. The work will be adapted into an animation by A-1 Pictures and Satelight, and is scheduled to air in the fall of this year. This news will be officially announced in Weekly Shonen Magazine on the 28th of April. The story follows a girl named Lucy who has always hoped to join a guild called Fairy Tail, a place filled with many powerful wizards. Under Natsu's guidance, Lucy finally achieves her dream and meets many powerful wizards. Lucy then teams up with Natsu, Gray, Erza, and Happy to form the strongest team, and thus begins the story of two men, two women, and a cat.
