The running turtle

Turtles All The Way Down is a story about a group of elusive escapees who have teased the police. In order to develop the area, they are busy preparing for the upcoming bullfighting festival. Country criminal backbone Zhao Bicheng (played by Kim Yun-seok) feels inferior in front of his wife who is five years older than him because she always thinks he does not focus on meaningful work. However, in this small village, he is the second most respected person by villagers after the school teacher. This time, as one of the strong contenders for the bullfighting champion, Bicheng secretly took a large sum of money as sponsorship for the conference without telling his wife. He planned to re-establish his authority in front of his wife, but just a few seconds later, the reward for the championship was stolen by the rumored big thief and escapee Song Jitai (played by Jung Kyung-ho), who disappeared from public view several years ago. How dare someone challenge the most prestigious criminal in the village! Zhao Bicheng decided to reveal his hidden killer move. But the legendary Song Jitai escaped right under everyone's eyes. When Bicheng told the villagers this fact, no one believed him. Determined to become a hero in front of everyone, Bicheng went alone to Song Jitai's residence and was suddenly attacked. His little finger was cut off. This incident quickly spread, and the country criminal team lost face in front of the people. As a result, Bicheng resigned. His money, reputation, and finally his self-respect were all taken away. Zhao Bicheng decided to fight to restore the nature and honor of being a criminal and take control of his own fate once again.
