The Way Out, as China's first production that truly reflects the living environment of fugitives during their escape and the transformation of their psychological journey, realistically portrays the entire mental process of fugitives from committing crimes, evading the law, choosing to flee, to eventually surrendering. By borrowing techniques from TV films, each two episodes will form a complete unit. Through unique scriptwriting, material selection, and shooting perspectives, it will vividly depict the fugitives' experiences of侥幸 (侥幸 means侥幸 in English), fatigue, pain, and despair. Ten deeply moving and震撼 (shocking) real cases will present the fugitives' disoriented, terrified, and solitary escape lives, as well as their inner struggles between sentiment and law, using cinematic techniques to fully display these before the public. Promoting righteousness over darkness will be the main thread throughout the filming of the TV series The Way Out. Although it tells the stories of criminals, under the theme of promoting the main melody, it vividly depicts the confrontation between justice and evil, the struggle between light and darkness within the criminals' hearts, and the conflict between sentiment and law.
