Since her work time was always opposite with Old Zhao's, they didn't know each other for a long time. One day, they met by chance and got acquainted. Later, a ruffian attempted to flirt with Yang Zhiying. Old Zhao and A Tang witnessed this and drove away the ruffian. Then Old Zhao and Yang Zhiying fell in love. But soon after, the factory where Yang Zhiying worked closed down. Yang Zhiying and her friend Yao Dajie were unemployed. Yang Zhiying left a note for Old Zhao and prepared to leave because she didn't want to affect Old Zhao's life due to herself. Unexpectedly, Old Zhao was also fired by the newspaper office. Yao Dajie called back Yang Zhiying. Then Yang Zhiying met Old Zhao and A Tang in the crowd. The newspaper reported that Xiao Xu committed suicide and Mr. Liu fought in the most front battlefield.
