The film "Woman Jeong Hui" delicately describes the story of a woman who strongly heals her emotional wounds and finds true love again. Jeong Hui, played by Kim Ji-soo, works in a small post office doing simple and repetitive tasks every day. Her life is as monotonous as her work. Not far from her workplace, Jeong Hui has her own small apartment where she keeps items she bought through television shopping. The only living creature in the room besides her is a little kitten she found. Jeong Hui enjoys the quiet moments on weekend afternoons, having long been accustomed to a life without anyone visiting her. During these peaceful afternoons, she likes to play with the kitten using her toes and enjoys the distant sounds of children playing. In her life journey, only this phase brings her a sense of calmness. However, beneath Jeong Hui's calm exterior lies an unspoken past. She had an unfortunate childhood, suffering sexual abuse from a family member. Her mother was her only support and confidant, but her mother's sudden early death left her deeply traumatized. Although these memories have become increasingly blurred in her mind, Jeong Hui can't help but shed tears whenever she thinks about them. Ji-soo was married once, but on the first day of her honeymoon, she stubbornly left her husband and returned alone. The mundane days continued in repetition until a man, played by Hwang Jung-min, disrupted Jeong Hui's tranquil life. This man dreams of becoming a writer and visits Jeong Hui's post office to send his manuscripts. Seeing him, Jeong Hui couldn't help but feel a faint longing for happiness. Jeong Hui musters up the courage to ask him, "Would you like to come over for dinner tonight?" Happiness seems to be waving at Jeong Hui from afar, but will it really arrive?
