At the end of the Tang Dynasty, Li Keyong, the ruler of the Shatuo tribe, had thirteen adopted sons who were all granted the rank of Taibao. Among them, Li Cunxiao (the thirteenth Taibao) and Jiang Dawei (the eleventh Taibao) were originally elite warriors on the battlefield. However, due to the intrigues and provocations of King Liang, jealousy arose between the Taibao brothers. Two of them conspired with outsiders due to envy towards the thirteenth, which eventually led to infighting and mutual slaughter among the brothers. As a result, the thirteenth Taibao, Li Cunxiao, suffered the cruel punishment of being torn apart by five horses, and Shi Jingsi (the eleventh Taibao), also known as Di Long, died in battle. It was tragic that these once great brothers met such a dire end.
