Twelve Money Darts

Directed by Hsu Tseng-Hung, the film features a main cast including the famous swordswoman Ting Li from the '60s and '70s, character actor Louis Liu, veteran actor and director Sammo Hung, and Lau Kar-Leung. The story revolves around Yu Jianping and Tian Feng, who have become legendary in the martial world for their unique weapon, the Twelve Coin Darts. The security bureau they run is so respected that no one dares to challenge it. However, during a delivery, Qiao Mao (played by Louis Liu) encounters a female thief, Yuan Yu-rong (played by Ting Li). As they engage in battle, Qiao has a moment where he could kill her but is captivated by Yuan's beauty and charm, hesitating to strike. In that instant, an elder, Fang Mian, appears, commanding the scene and engaging Qiao in combat. Overpowered, Qiao is pinned alive to a tree by the elder’s throwing knives. Surprisingly, Qiao and Yuan later develop feelings for each other. It turns out that the elder was once a fellow disciple of Yu Jianping, but now seeks revenge.
