This film tells the story of an era when bandits roamed rampant, and the fearsome Five Fates Brothers dominated the jianghu. Discontent with the Two Rivers Governor imprisoning their leader, they abducted his son, Zhang Buqing, as a bargaining hostage. Zhang Buqing has a sister, Zhang Xiyang, who is highly skilled in martial arts and nicknamed Golden Swallow. She plans to negotiate with the mountain bandits, including Jade-Faced Tiger Yin Zhongyu, by staying at the Gaosheng Inn. Since the Five Fates consider Golden Swallow their biggest trouble, as soon as she enters the inn, a game of open conflict and covert struggle ensues. Golden Swallow skillfully handles the surrounding crisis, showcasing her prowess by deftly dodging flying wine jars and benches, swiftly handling coins, and even catching gold darts with chopsticks and fans, putting the Five Fates on high alert. The Drunken Hero Fan Dabei, sitting in the inn, observes everything. Due to Golden Swallow's impulsive nature and lack of extensive jianghu experience, she is poisoned and ambushed by the Five Fates after retiring to her room. The Drunken Hero secretly leads Golden Swallow into several confrontations, using both strength and wit to subdue the bandits and bring them to justice.
