Many people may find that shutting down Windows can be a very lengthy process. The main culprit behind this issue is that the system needs to unload the current user's profile when shutting down.

This problem, whether caused by third-party software or even Microsoft's own applications, occurs because they fail to properly clean up during exit. Windows will keep attempting to unload the user profile until it can no longer proceed, at which point it will start to shut down the system. However, even after identifying the problem, there isn't much we can do about it. This is why Microsoft introduced the User Profile Hive Cleanup Service.

This service can automatically clean up a user's personal information.
