Nowadays, there are more and more IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) options in the market. For those who want to reduce investment, directly aggregating existing IPTV software is a very simple task. Based on my personal experience, Tianren Network TV, PPMate, and UTV are experts in this field.

First, let's look at Tianren Network TV. This product lists different IPTV software within its own software. Users only need to switch between different software names on the interface to play programs from different network TVs. Currently, it includes PPLive, PPStream, QQ Live, TVKoo, and more than 12 other IPTV options according to the software introduction. For example, if you want to watch a program on PPLive, you just click on PPLive’s name, and the right side will display the program list while the left side shows the player—almost identical to PPLive itself. Users can choose programs from the list or search for programs in other network TVs. This method is quite straightforward but not very easy to operate; some TV programs require trying one by one. However, aggregation is simple, and it is known as an "all-inclusive" P2P IPTV software. It can definitely be called all-inclusive because adding new software is all that is needed. This type of software can expand infinitely.

Secondly, let's take a look at PPMate. At first, I didn't realize that PPMate also aggregates content, but later I noticed its program sources and found that it integrates many channels from other network TVs. However, PPMate unifies all other network TV channel sources under its own interface. Clearly, PPMate has put in a lot of effort by reclassifying different programs and establishing a search system where users can directly query programs by entering their names. Moreover, it provides introductions and tips for many programs. The detailed production ensures that users don’t care where the programs come from, which can only be seen through the program source display in PPMate. As a network TV software that aggregates nearly 1200 TV programs, many details surpass Tianren Network TV. Perhaps this is why Tianren also includes PPMate. Of course, PPMate’s aggregation is indeed profound, and it adds some unique features such as recording, video-on-demand, and picture-in-picture. These make PPMate stand out among network TVs.

The specific aggregation effect can also be noticed when users download the software. The latest version of Tianren Network TV is approximately 10M, while the previous version of PPMate is about 4.5M. Clearly, Tianren requires users to download several main network TVs onto their computers during installation, unlike PPMate, which only needs its own program downloaded.

Although both are aggregation-based network TV software, the above comparison still shows that PPMate does a lot of original work after aggregation, making PPMate a pretty good network TV software option.

Is UTV a new Tianren? Recently, a new aggregator called UTV has appeared on the market. From interface settings to the main aggregated network TV software, it closely resembles Tianren. It seems that Tianren, which copied other network TV software, is now being copied by newcomers.

There is another one I recently discovered called "Nine Grades Network TV 2008," which is very similar to Tianren Network TV. Friends who are interested can download it themselves and give it a try!
