November 5 news: According to foreign media reports, security company Bit9 recently released a list of the top 10 Windows software programs most vulnerable to attacks in 2007. Yahoo Messenger ranked first.
The rankings show that Yahoo and Apple each had two products make the list, including Apple QuickTime 7.2 and iTunes 7.3.2, as well as Yahoo Messenger 8.1.0.239 and Widgets 4.0.5.
In comparison, Microsoft only had one product on the list — Windows Live (MSN) Messenger 7.0, 8.0. The popular Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.6 browser also made the list.
