In Korea, there is a saying that "in spring, let your daughter-in-law go out; in autumn, let your daughter go out". This saying emphasizes that sunshine in spring has more effect on the skin than that in autumn. In spring, Koreans mostly eat vegetables and fruits, especially those rich in Vitamin A, C, E such as oranges, tomatoes, carrots, spinach, fresh fruits, dried fruits and so on. This is enough to explain why Korean women have such tender skin. As the proverb says, "the planning for a year is done in spring", and of course, the care of the skin is no exception.
