The 8th Jingjiang Prince of Gonghui, Zhu Bangning, inherited the title in the 6th year of Jiajing (AD 1527) and reigned for 46 years. Historical records describe him as a cruel, lustful, and superstitious prince who "refused to pursue learning during prosperous times." He had multiple disputes with the inspector Xun Nanjin, was once penalized by the court with "loss of salary," and even had his title stripped, with punishment extending to his officials. In his underground palace, there is no epitaph for him.
The 9th Jingjiang Prince of Kangxi, Zhu Renchang, inherited the title in the 5th year of Wanli (AD 1577) and passed away in the 10th year (AD 1582), reigning for only 6 years before his life quickly came to an end.
The 10th Jingjiang Prince of Wenyu, Zhu Lvtao, inherited the title at the age of 14 in the 13th year of Wanli (AD 1585). He reigned for 6 years and died at the age of 19, a short-lived "medicine pot" young prince. He relied on tonics to survive but remained childless due to extreme frailty. His tomb contains his medicine pot, medicine bowl, and a plum bottle of "baby mouse wine" tonic.
The 10th and 11th Jingjiang Prince of Xianding, Zhu Rensheng, inherited the title in the 20th year of Wanli (AD 1592), reigned for 18 years, lived to be 71 years old, indulging in eating, drinking, and pleasure throughout his life, making him the longest-living among the Jingjiang princes.
The 10th and 12th Jingjiang Prince of Rongmu, Zhu Lvhu, inherited the title in the 40th year of Wanli (AD 1612) and passed away the same year, becoming the shortest-reigning prince among the fiefdoms.
