The "bloody case" created by Yang Jia, a Beijing citizen, at the Zhabei Public Security Bureau in Shanghai has not yet subsided, and another bloody case of police-civilian violent conflict occurred in Pu'er City, Yunnan. According to the July 20th report of "Yunnan Daily", some rubber farmers in Gongsixin Township and Mengma Town, Menglian County had a conflict with local rubber enterprises due to interest disputes. When local public security police officers summoned individuals suspected of criminal offenses during the conflict according to law, they were violently surrounded by some local villagers, resulting in multiple police officers being injured and several police cars being smashed. The public security police officers were forced to use riot guns for self-defense, causing multiple villagers to be injured, among whom 2 died due to ineffective rescue.
