NPD Group has announced the latest notebook sales rankings. HP remains in the lead, with 20.8% of the notebook market shown in the latest quarterly report, selling 6.5 million units. Dell replaces Acer to take second place, but with only 15.1% market share and 4.7 million units sold. Acer naturally falls to third place, holding 14.6% of the market with sales of 4.5 million units.
