[Fig.] Samsung's conceptual notebook will feature an AMOLED display.

Samsung SDI, a Samsung Group company, recently announced on its official website that it has developed the first large-size AMOLED panel for use in notebook computers. The notebook shown in the picture below features an AMOLED display. Currently, this notebook is still in the prototype stage. According to the introduction, the screen size of this notebook is 12.1 inches with a resolution of 1280*768. Additionally, it was reported that Samsung will showcase the AMOLED panel prototype at the American Society of SID 2008 conference on May 21st.
