France invents "robot anesthesiologist"

A French research team announced that a robot anesthetist developed by France based on American technology has achieved clinical trial success on more than 200 patients. Professor Marc Fischler, an anesthetist at Foch Hospital in the Suresnes region and a member of the research team, said that this robot anesthetist can take over tasks such as managing anesthetics and analgesics, checking the patient's condition, and controlling the anesthesia process, thereby "allowing the anesthetist to fully focus on another extremely important task: monitoring the patient's condition."
