AOL to Offer Free .com Domain Names

AOL announced that it will offer .com domains for free to its users. AOL did not provide a specific date, but it is likely to be around September. This is a very attractive idea; we know that the majority of the internet is free, but offering domains for free is a first.

Since AOL's services were mostly paid in the past, including charging for email, this led to a significant loss of AOL users, and AOL is not what it used to be.
