AOL Releases Netscape 8.1

AOL on Wednesday released Version 8.1 of the Netscape browser, which is based on the Firefox core. It continues to use a two-engine approach and adds a security center that automatically scans all downloads and blocks potential malicious software. Other improvements include multi-user profile management, a new preferences panel design, and the ability to restore closed tabs, among others.
