Ask.com to Launch Chinese Search Next Year

Ask.com is not very popular domestically, but with its unique business philosophy, it has become the fourth largest search engine in the United States after Google, Yahoo, and MSN. Currently, Ask.com has established a 50-person R&D center in Hangzhou and is preparing to enter the Chinese search market.

James confirmed to Tencent that Ask has come to China and plans to start working on Chinese search next year. Now, products developed by Ask's Chinese engineers are already used all over the world. A large portion is utilized in the United States, while another part is applied in Germany. Next year, Ask plans to launch its services in China.
