Microsoft Acquires Yahoo Search

One should regard others with new eyes if they have been apart for a while. It seems that Yahoo will cure Microsoft's ills. The search deal between Yahoo and Microsoft has been struck: Yahoo search will soon be powered by Bing. Yahoo will cut costs by selling its search technology, and then the two companies will share advertising revenue. Most importantly, from now on, Microsoft will control one-third of the search market, and the ultimate result of all this is only one: to compete with Google!
