Google Earth to Launch Moon Map, Sources Say

Google on Thursday sent out media invites, saying that the company would hold a press conference in Washington D.C., the capital of the United States, on July 20th to release "a very special new function" of Google Earth. According to media reports, Google will announce the Moon map function of Google Earth at this press conference. Because July 20th, 2009 is the 40th anniversary of Apollo 11 landing on the Moon.
