When many people think of the ocean, they remember *Finding Nemo*. For World Oceans Day, Google has put together a series of visualizations using Google Earth to help people understand why we should save them. Last night, the Google LatLong blog wrote, "In order to help tell the story of Earth's oceans, we've gathered imagery that tells both sides -- the issues the oceans face and the cutting edge science." Look through data on plastic in the ocean, where currents might be sweeping away debris, the health of global fish stocks, and the most recent satellite data on the state of the oceans.
