Since the day Microsoft's latest search engine Bing was launched, SEO Tribe has shown great interest. Previously, we reported on Bing's official launch with "Microsoft's Bing Search Engine Officially In Use". Today, Microsoft's search engine Bing has surpassed Yahoo to become the second largest search engine. Since Bing is the flagship product of Microsoft, the world's largest software development company, it will inevitably cause significant changes in the search engine industry. First, it possesses strong technical capabilities, and second, it has a powerful operating system platform as its backing. Therefore, we can speculate that Microsoft's next operating system may be adjusted to integrate the latest Bing search engine, making it more convenient for users (actually capturing more search users).
On the evening of June 5th Beijing time, according to foreign media reports, data from market research company StatCounter shows that due to eroding Google's market share, Microsoft's newly launched search engine Bing has surpassed Yahoo to become the second largest search engine in the United States and globally.

StatCounter analysis of Thursday's data found that Bing surpassed Yahoo to become the second largest search engine in the United States, with a market share of 16.28%, while Yahoo's market share was 10.22%. Google's market share in the U.S. was 71.47%, and globally it was 87.62%. Bing and Yahoo's global market shares were 5.62% and 5.13%, respectively.
There are many reasons for the increase in Bing's market share — users trying something new, forcibly changing the default search engine settings in IE6, high-quality Bing products, and the effectiveness of Microsoft's marketing campaigns. Since its release two days ago, Bing's market share has increased significantly, while Google's market share has fallen even more.
Can Bing truly challenge Google, or is this just a fleeting moment? This is a question worth paying attention to.
