11 Companies in Wenzhou Approved to Implement Special Working Hours System_Wenzhou Part-time Job Network

Wenzhou's labor and social security department has published a list of the first 11 Wenzhou-based enterprises to implement a special working hours system in 2009. Starting today, enterprises that are unable to arrange work according to the standard working hours (8 hours per day, 40 hours per week) due to production and operation characteristics (such as orders, construction, etc.), can apply to the labor security department for a special working hours system.

There are two types of "special working hours"

The special working hours system includes the不定时work system and the comprehensive calculation working hours system. The不定时work system is a working hours system used for employees who, due to production characteristics, special work needs or responsibilities, cannot be measured by standard working hours or require flexible work.

The comprehensive calculation working hours system is a working hours system used for some employees in enterprises whose work nature requires continuous operations or is restricted by seasons and natural conditions. It uses weeks, months, quarters, years, etc., as cycles to comprehensively calculate working hours. However, the average daily working hours and average weekly working hours should be basically the same as the statutory standard working hours.
