A guru named Keith Combs showed in his blog how he used a Lenovo ThinkPad T61P laptop with Microsoft Hyper-V RC1 virtual machines to run 14 Vista operating systems simultaneously on one computer. Of course, he upgraded this ThinkPad laptop by first expanding the memory to 8G. Then, to solve the biggest bottleneck of the system - hard disk transfer speed - an external hard drive was connected to the computer. The operating system is Windows Server 2008. Below is a screenshot of the laptop running 14 Vistas at the same time.
