5800 New Firmware V40.0.001 is being tested - Exciting!

As the touch-screen smartphone with the highest sales volume for Nokia, upgrades to the 5800 have always been a focal point of attention. Especially with the N97 featuring a Widgetized Homescreen and Kinetic Scrolling function (inertial scrolling, where you swipe your finger across the screen and the content scrolls with inertia rather than needing to be dragged continuously), this has left users of the 5800 feeling unsettled — given the same platform architecture, why can't the 5800 have these features?
