Why Google Is Slowing Its Acquisitions Pace

In February this year, Google relaunched JotSpot as one of its owned sites. Google acquired Jotspot about 16 months ago, after which Jot was no longer open for new registrations; only its existing users could access it. So what exactly happened during these 16 months? Why did it take so long for Google to integrate it? Take a look at the list of companies that Google has acquired, and Jotspot can be considered a lucky one because many other companies either shut down or lost their competitiveness during the acquisition process.

Blogger was acquired by Google in February 2003.
