At noon today, when I entered the domain name of Google Music Search (www.g.cn/music), I was very surprised to find that this page could be accessed. However, after a few minutes, it reverted back to the previous 404 interface. Below is a screenshot of the interface. The homepage of Google Music Search is a list page of "Top 100 New Songs". In the upper left corner is the usual Google navigation bar, and in the upper right corner is the link to "Open Player". The logo used is the regular one, not a custom channel logo.
In Google Music Search, Google provides services for trial listening, downloading, lyrics, and ringtones. Among them, the link address for trial listening is www.google.cn/music/top100/, while download and lyrics are g.top100.cn. Ringtones direct users to China Mobile's 12530 page.
In Google Music Search, you can search by singer, song title, and album title. How effective is the search? When I searched for "Jay Chou," only one song co-sung by Jay Chou and Van Ness Wu called "Roof," another co-sung by Jay Chou and CoCo Lee called "Peking Opera Face," and some artist information appeared. The rest were not particularly related to Jay Chou. This indicates that Google has not yet completed negotiations with the copyright company of Jay Chou's songs. In the help documentation of Google Music Search (which cannot be opened now), Google explained: if music cannot be found, it means that Google's partner, Jumbo Music Network, has not successfully negotiated with this record company. "Please contact Jumbo Company," -_-||| Why should users contact the Jumbo Company?!
