After a year of rumors, Google has finally found a place for its New York office, located at 111 Eighth Avenue in the prime Chelsea district of Manhattan.
Google occupies three floors, covering an area of 300,000 square feet (approximately 8,432.95 pyeong). The building was constructed in 1932 and initially served as the headquarters for the New York Port Authority. Prominent companies that have recently leased space there include Global Crossing and Barnesandnoble.com. In terms of usable area, this building is the second largest in Manhattan.
