Perhaps you have noticed that a CC (close caption) button has been added to the Google Video player control panel (see attached picture). Indeed, Google Video has also started supporting SUB and SRT subtitles.
Since this is a newly launched feature, there aren't many videos with subtitles yet. I picked a scuba diving video — Underwater World (a creatively designed washing machine advertisement shares a similar charm). It allows you to experience online videos with subtitles. It's perfect for watching quietly at night while sitting in front of your computer (the only downside is the slightly poor video quality).
In the short film, you will see in sequence: stingray, anglerfish, ghost pipefish, tigertail seahorse, cube boxfish, varicose wart slug (couldn’t find an exact translation, it’s slimy and looks like a snail), goatfish, chevron barracuda, two men, pharaoh cuttlefish, big red octopus, honeycomb moray eel, stingray again, cobia, manta ray (a favorite of 8O), and whale shark. Phew, translating this was exhausting!
