Google Labs - New Trip Planner Service

Today, I accidentally came across Google Labs and found that on September 25th (US time), a service named Google Transit quietly launched, yet the media and bloggers seemed not to have noticed it.

I searched for "google transit" and discovered that this service was actually released as early as December 2005. Google fans like Tinyfool were among the first bloggers to report on it. Its appearance on the Google Labs page, however, is something that only happened in these past few days.
